This product is non-combustible, however, dried films are capable of burning and supporting combustion when in contact with flames. Firefighting Procedures: Observe recommended procedures in handling fire areas. Wear appropriate firefighting equipmentincluding self-contained breathing apparatus. Reactivity Stability: Stable Incompatible Materials: Not Known Hazardous Decomposition Products: Burning can produce carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxides. Conditions To Avoid: Avoid tempatures below 3 degrees Celcius. Keep Product From freezing Health Hazard Data Effects of overexposure: Vapour odors may cause irritation in the upper and lower respirtory tracts, nausea, headaches, and dizziness. Eyes and Skin: Can cause irritation, redness and tearing. Irrigate eyes thoroughly with clean water. If irritation persists, consult doctor. Wash exposed skin areas with soap and water. Ingestion: Can cause naseua, vomiting, diarhea, and gastrointestinal irritation. If ingested, and the person is concious, give two glasses of water, to drink, and call a doctor. Inhalation: Excessive exposure to vapours or spray mists can cause irritaion of eyes, nose and throat. If affected by vapours, move to fresh air. Supply artificial respiration to a person who loses consciousness and call a doctor Immediately. Special Protection Information Skin Protection: Solvent resistant gloves are required. Eye Protection: Use Saftey Goggles, glasses, or face sheilds. Respiratory Protection: Wear approved respirator unless ventilationo equipment is adequate to keep airborne concentrations below exposure standards. Ventilation: General mechanical ventilation may be sufficient to keep product vapour concentrations below specified TLV ranges. If not, use local exhaust. Spill Or Leak Procedures Large Spills: Dike and absorb materials with absorbent such as sand, earth, or sawdust. Use rags to clean up smaller spills. Waste Disposal Method: Collect contaminated absorbent material and rags, place into a disposal container and dispose of in an approved facility in accordance with cruuent Federal, Provincial, and Local Regulations. Special information Precaution is to be taken in handling and storing: Keep containers closed when not in use. Do not store or handle near flames or strong oxidants. Store in cool, well ventilated area. Do not store where the product will freeze. Keep product stored above 3 degrees Celcius. Keep out of reach of Children. |
